Eleftheria Tseliou gallery is happy to present Chryssa Voudouroglou’s solo show ‘Painting’. The show opens on Tuesday, March 8 and will be on display until the 16th of April 2016.
Chryssa Voudouroglou in parallel with the works entitled ‘Tarzan Gaour’, the urban landscapes of Nea Ionia and landscapes of Sifnos island, keeps exploring the nature of  painting. The colors, the materials,the textures and their different qualities determine the painting space as well as the composition itself. The fabrics and their different matières take the role of the main paiting materials thus creating a work within the great tradition of abstract art. These works hide a microcosm which is revealed to us different every time we look at them. A painting which is not limited necessarily in the obvious materials but contains their research in textile and tailor’s shops.
