Margarita Myrogianni
Margarita Myrogianni was born in Athens in 1974, where she also currently lives and works. She studied Fine Art at the University Facaulty of Fine Arts (UB), at the Athens School of Fine Art and at Slade School of Fine Art, U.C.L in London. Her work has been included among many other shows in Illumination, the Service Point Building, Manchester, Sinning, DIVUS gallery, London, Reflections on the passing of a spectacular event, Wolstenh Projects, Liverpool, Wohniador, Driedrichshain, Berlin, The Voice and Nothing More, Woburn Research Center, London, Setting the scene, Gallerie Bafa Foto, Geneva, Henji Sanhe Museum, Hanju, China, Petrosphere, Remap 3, Athens, Glasgow International Festival of Visual Art, Glasgow, The Greek Pavillion at Palais de Tokyo, Paris. In 2014 she presented her solo show ‘Provisions’ at the Eleftheria Tseliou gallery, where she also presented in 2016 the dual, collaborative show ‘ Tom Sawyer’ with fellow prominent Greek artist George Hadjimichalis. Margarita Myrogianni has been serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of The National Gallery of Greece.
